The words for "There Is A Fountain Filled With Blood", written by William Cowper, are as true today as they were when they were first written around 1782:
1. There is a fountain filled with blood,
Drawn from Immanuel’s veins,
And sinners plunged beneath that flood
Lose all their guilty stains.
2. The dying thief rejoiced to see
That fountain in His day;
And there may I, though vile as he,
Wash all my sins away.
3. Dear dying Lamb, Thy precious blood
Shall never lose its pow’r,
Till all the ransomed church of God
Are safe, to sin no more.
4. E’er since by faith I saw the stream
Thy flowing wounds supply,
Redeeming love has been my theme,
And shall be till I die.
5. When this poor, lisping, stamm’ring tongue
Lies silent in the grave,
Then in a nobler, sweeter song,
I’ll sing Thy pow’r to save.
Dear Friend,
My prayer for YOU is that today, right now, YOU would let Jesus come into your heart. God loves YOU. He sent His Son, Jesus, to die for YOU. Jesus not only died for YOU, He rose from the grave the third day so YOU could have Eternal Life. Ask Jesus into your heart. Pray: "Lord I know I am a sinner. Please forgive me of my sin. I cannot go to Heaven without You. There is no other way. I receive You as my Saviour. Please come into my heart and save me right now. Thank You Lord that You are able to save, keep and assure me of a Home in Heaven."
If you ask Christ to forgive you of your sins and ask Him to come into your heart, He will save YOU:
Romans 10:13 "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord, shall be saved."
Because Of Christ,
